So a lot of people want to sell their product or services online, I mean everybody is doing so, why shouldn’t you?
Or some people have started uploading pictures of their products online and made a sell or two; congrats to you.
Bottomline? A lot of people wants to know the proper way of doing their business online.
At first look, it seems like rocket science. You wonder if you should just post pictures of your products everwhere you enter online, or maybe open a facebook page, what of Instagram?
Does twitter convert more? How should I even manage all of them?
In this report, we will show you 3 simple things you need to put in place to achieve stability and market online like a boss.
1. A PLATFORM.
Just like your normal business office, a platform is your address/standpoint. A place where people will visit you when they need you or your services.
A place where you can shoot out from. Your fortress.
A platform can be your personal profile, your company facebook page, Instagram, linkedin, twitter account or the best; your website.
Your website is your best online platform and can be used for any business whatsoever.
Its like buying a plot of land and building on it.
With your website, you’re fully in charge. You won’t just wake up one day and realize you’ve been shut down as can be the case with a facebook or linkedin page.
You own the right to do whatever pleases you on your site. (in another post, we will show you how to fully optimize your website).
2. A BAIT.
So you are into laundry business? Ok, how does that affect us?
That up there is the attitude of everybody out there on the street towards your business except your family and few friends who really care about you. Unfortunately, your business won’t survive exclusively on these two sets of people.
That’s why you need a bait. An attraction. Something that makes people stop in their tracks and look at you twice or even ten times.
A bait is very crucial to business.
It is what MTN does when they keep showing you adverts and giving offers.
It is what facebook does when you turn on the phone data and notifications flood in like kainji dam.
A bait exists to say “Look At Me” or better, “Think About Me”.
Baits are awesome. If you go about your bait well, it can astronomically shoot your business profits into the skies.
It can be in form of:
• An incredible offer
• A discount
• Highly-informative content
• A gift
• Free trial
You’ll notice that all these are supposed to add value to your customer and help them.
If not, why should I enter online, maybe to connect with friends and then buy your product.
Its like the holy grail of marketing in the 21st century.
Make your customer’s life easier and they will be the one’s looking for ways to help you.
Have you ever just visited the social media page of a big company just to know the number of followers they have or saw a new page saying stuff you like, then just checked their followership.
I have, likewise a lot of people.
Wise businesses do this by writing down the contacts of their customers.
Why is this necessary? A bird at hand is better than two in the forest. The devil you know is better than the angel you don’t know. They obviously don’t mean the same thing but it should tell you where I am driving at with this.
IT IS EASIER AND BETTER TO RETAIN A CUSTOMER THAN TO FIND A NEW ONE.
That’s why companies will tell you to sign up or like their page.
It automatically moves you from a cold lead to a warm lead.
You might not buy now, but you will soon buy. It enables them to push their baits to you easier.
There’s a popular saying amongst we digital marketers that the goes “The money is in the list” and it is not a lie.
So which of these are you doing in your business?
